AWARD

Qualifying clubs can also earn a special discount code for 10% off their next club order. The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer. TALK UP
TOASTMASTERS

BEAT THE
CLOCK
Clubs adding five new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between May 1 and June 30 receive a Beat the Clock ribbon to display on the club’s banner. Qualifying clubs also earn a special discount code for 10% off their next club order. The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer. Applications and payments for members with a join date between May 1 and June 30 must be received by June 30.

DIVISION DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award recognizes a District 27 Division Director who exemplifies the core values of Toastmasters: integrity, service, excellence, and respect. This Division Director will have all club visits within his/her division completed and submitted by
the deadline, successfully held a spring speech contest, and attended a majority of all meetings. The Division Director who receives this award will have all of the clubs in his/her division in good standing.

AREA DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award recognizes a District 27 Area Director who exemplifies the core values of Toastmasters: integrity, service, excellence, and respect. This Area Director will have completed all of his/her area’s club visits by the deadline, successfully held both the fall and spring speech contest, and attended a majority of all meetings. The Area Director who receives this award will have all of the clubs in his/her area in good standing.

TOASTMASTERS OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award recognizes a devoted District 27 Toastmasters member whose educational accomplishments, club service, dedication, and enthusiasm made a significant contribution toward achieving the District Mission. The recipient of this award must be in good standing, enrolled in Pathways, and has been actively involved with District 27 Toastmasters.

CLUB OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award recognizes an exception District 27 Toastmasters club whose service, achievements, and commitment has made led to the success of the District. This club not only diligently follows the Toastmasters’ club mission, but made a significant contribution toward achieving the District Mission. The club who receives this award must be in good standing, must be distinguished by April 1 st , and has been actively
involved with District 27 Toastmasters. The club must also have submitted a club success plan and a club officer list.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS
HAPPY MAIL
For each level in Pathways a member completes, they will receive a personal letter/email of recognition. Plus, educational achievers will also be highlighted in the District 27 Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter. Nothing like a little “happy mail” to brighten your day!
THE SPOTLIGHT
Any Member who earns an educational award during July – June will be entered into a monthly drawing to receive a gift from the Program Quality Director! Winners will also be highlighted in the District 27 Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter. Only one winner per month will be drawn. The Program Quality Director will coordinate with your Area or Division Director for you to receive your prize.
TRIPLE CROWN
The third time is the charm! Members who earn three or more educational awards between July – June will receive a Triple Crown pin, recognition at the District 27 Hall of Fame, and in the District 27 Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter. Members must be in
good standing as of April 30, 2024.
DTM TOUCHDOWN
The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters. Any member earning their DTM will receive an engraved DTM medal, recognition at the District 27 Hall of Fame, and in the District 27
Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter. Members must be in good standing as of April 30, 2024.
SEVEN & SEVEN
Any District 27 club that has all seven (7) of their officers trained at the Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) for BOTH summer and winter sessions by Febraury 28, 2024 will receive an “100% All Club Officers Trained” ribbon for their banner. All clubs achieving this will receive recognition in the District 27 Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter. The club must be in good standing as of April 30, 2024.
PERFECT 10 GOAL GETTERS
The first ten District 27 clubs who achieve all 10 DCP goals and meet the required membership base will be awarded the “Perfect 10” Goal Getters distinction. All clubs achieving this goal will receive recognition in the District 27 Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter and either a Webcam with microphone or a Presentation Clicker.
AREA
The first Area Director to have all their Area’s club visits completed and submitted online by the deadline will win a Toastmasters ceramic mug. All Area Directors achieving this will receive recognition in the District 27 Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter. Timing: One winner for each round. Round 1 deadline is by November 30. Round 2 deadline is by April 30.
D27 TOP FIVE
The top five (5) Area Directors with the highest number of education awards in their Area by April 30, 2024, will be awarded a laptop briefcase. All Area Directors achieving this will receive recognition in the District 27 Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter.
DIVISION
The first Division Director to have 100% of all their Area’s club visits completed and submitted online by the deadline will win a polo shirt or duffle bag. One winner for each round. All Division Directors achieving this will receive recognition in the District 27 Toastmasters monthly e-newsletter. Timing: One winner for each round. Round 1 deadline is by November 30. Round 2 deadline is by April 30.
Smart Start – The first 50 individual members who renew their membership through September 30, 2024, by September 1, 2023, will receive District recognition and a Navy Tote Bag. Note: Please provide a copy of your individual email receipt showing the dates of your renewal period. This item cannot be combined with any other member retention incentive.
Jump Start – Clubs that have 100% of their members renew their dues through September 30, 2024, by September 30, 2023, will receive a Customizable Virtual Background and District recognition. Note: Please provide a copy of your clubs roster to show the dates of your renewal period. This item cannot be combined with any other member retention incentive for clubs.
Volunteer Cheer – District 27 will be marketing at several tabling events to promote Toastmasters. These events will require volunteers from the District’s clubs. For each of the these events, the first five volunteers who receive information that leads to an introduction meeting with the organization’s decision makers will receive a Navy Tote Bag. The first five volunteers who sponsor new members will receive a 2023 Convention Key Chain. The first three volunteers who become Club Sponsors once the club is chartered will receive a License Plate Frame.
Strive for Success – The first 5 clubs who gain 5 new members within 30-days of hosting an open house will receive a $25 gift certificate from TI shop. Member sponsors will receive a stylus pen. Clubs are required to have their open house dates placed in the District 27 calendar. A copy of the application showing whom the new member sponsored will also be required. Note: Clubs may not combine this incentive with other club incentives.
Seven Up – The first 10 clubs with 12 members or less that gain 7 new members by December 31, 2023, will receive District recognition, a Word of the Day Pack and a Moments of Truth Evaluation Chart. Note: Clubs may not combine this incentive with other club incentives.
