Post your club meetings and special events on the District 27-sponsored MeetUp account
Did you know that all District 27 Toastmasters clubs have access to a free MeetUp account that is sponsored by District 27? Take advantage of this opportunity by advertising your club without paying! You can post your meetings and special events on MeetUp and share it online. Contact District 27 Toastmasters Public Relations Manager Jeanna Lee at email@example.com to find out how to join and edit your MeetUp page. You can also start the process by filling out this short Google form.
Not familiar with MeetUp? MeetUp is an online service that organizes online groups, which host events for people with similar interests. This is a natural solution for Toastmasters Clubs looking for new members. If you are a Vice President of Membership or a Vice President of Public Relations, this could help you meet your club’s membership growth goals. We have divided up the MeetUp pages into five (5) geographical locations.
At this time, we are only allowing, division directors, area directors, club VPMs, and club VPPRs access to post and edit the MeetUp page. However, other officers and members should be encouraged to join as members on the relevant MeetUp page.
Check out your District’s MeetUp page, and make sure your club’s information is up-to-date. You can also improve your page by adding club pictures and having your members confirm their attendance for upcoming meetings.
Includes all District 27 Toastmasters clubs within Central Maryland, including Camp Springs, Capital Heights, District Heights, Fairmont Heights, Glen Arden, Landover, Oxon Hill, Suitland, and Temple Hills
